Residents wanting to have their gas utility turned on or off must contact Ameren/CIPS. A one to two day notice is required for hook-up and disconnection. After they have been contacted, CIPS will set up an appointment to service the residence, turn on the gas and light the pilots in the house. Arrangements must be made prior to the visit to assure access to the residence.
